Our vacation is coming closer and closer. On Friday last week our new tent arrived. We took the opportunity and decided to test it on Saturday. So we packed our stuff and headed north west towards Hindeloopen on the Ijseelmeer.
For Sophie and Emily this is the first time sleeping in a tent, and Tina an I have never slept on such a professional and comfortable camp ground. We are acquainted to the more basic camp grounds found in Iceland, New Zealand and Scandinavia. The kids loved sleeping in the tent -- mission accomplished!!
On the way back we made a detour and stopped at the northsea town of Harlingen. The result of which is that the whole family is now pretty sure that we are not big fans of wadloopen.
