New Fedora 14 is out and of course I had to install it asap.Besides the usual issues the most annoying thing is evolution. In F13 towards the end it really started to work with the UT exchange server. Seems that most of the bugs that affected me have been fixed or somebody found a work around. Now in F14 Exchange doesn't work any more. I think it is even worse than before.
However, I decided to switch to google. The Ut mail is checked with imap (that at least works :-). But my private mail address is transferred to google (will take a little while until everybody notices). Also the calendar the the address book moved there. So far everything is fine. The one or the other change here and there in the way I handle things but I guess it will work smoothly. Also my Windoof mobile phone seems to cooperate with the new environment.
So it seems I left the evil MS Exchange empire and ended up in the evil google empire. In the end I even safe money because I will downgrade my gmx account. Time will show if it has been a wise decision.
