The evil empire

So I switched to google. Most of the transition went fine. With two notable exceptions.

1. It took me a while to figure out how to sync to the UT Exchange server without using Exchange. Windows mobile can handle only one Exchange account that is no the one from google. However, searching for a while I figured out that there actually is a smtp-auth server using ssl that one can use from outside the UT network. I found the manual for this on the snt website and not on the official ICTS website. They use this there to sync everything with gmail. But thats not what I need.
2. The evolution contacts. It seems that you can only create contact in the google address book when you use google's DNS server. Officially this is a bug (see comment number 17 and the link provided there) but who knows.
